On 9 May 2026, POSEIDON took part in the Energy and Climate Festival in Karlsruhe, held at the city’s market square, where a wide range of organisations came together across multiple booths to engage the public on climate and energy topics.🌍
POSEIDON was represented by our project partner Steinbeis Europa Zentrum. The team introduced visitors to innovative EU projects and solutions for sustainable fuels. Through a combination of flyers and interactive games, complex topics were translated into clear and engaging formats, making them accessible to citizens of all ages.
The event was a great success. We engaged with more than 300 visitors from all walks of life and had many insightful and inspiring conversations, reflecting a strong interest in clean energy solutions and the future of sustainable transport.
We hope these exchanges contributed to raising awareness of the important role renewable fuels can play in reducing emissions from maritime transport and supporting Europe’s decarbonisation goals.
