Honoring the POSEI-DONAs
In celebration of International Women’s Day, we are thrilled to introduce you to some of the incredible women working at POSEIDON, affectionately known as the POSEI-DONAs. During our recent trip to the beautiful city of Genoa for the project’s 4th consortium meeting, our project partners were inspired by the Italian word “dona,” meaning woman, and came up with this special name to honor these amazing women. They have graciously agreed to share their motivations for joining POSEIDON and what being part of the team means to them. Let’s dive in and hear their stories!
I am Roberta, an energy engineer with a deep passion for discovering new sustainable technologies and a constant drive to find solutions for decarbonizing industries. The most valuable knowledge I have gained comes from hands-on experience—learning directly from people who work with specific technologies every day and those who operate industrial plants firsthand.
