Project partner ICODOS was contender for The Spinoff Prize 2024

We are delighted to share that our project partner, ICODOS, participated in The Spinoff Prize 2024! 🎉
ICODOS has been recognized for their groundbreaking work in producing methanol from captured carbon dioxide, a significant step towards sustainable industrial practices.

Their innovative pilot plant, owned by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), in Karlsruhe, Germany, has demonstrated the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pave the way for a greener future. This achievement is a testament to the impactful work being done under the POSEIDON Project and the Horizon UP-TO-ME, where KIT and ICODOS collaborate closely.

We also extend our congratulations to Trince, the winner of The Spinoff Prize 2024, for their groundbreaking research into photoporation, a new and safer method for introducing DNA and other molecules into cells. This new method can play a key role in the future of cell and gene therapy in the treatment of cancer and genetic diseases, and therefore has the potential to save many lives.

Congratulations to the ICODOS team! We look forward to seeing your continued success and the positive impact of your innovations.
